The path of last year was reconfirmed
Here is the path of the Barcolana51, confirmed compared to the previous edition.
It is a quadrilateral with fixed vertices positioned in the Gulf of Trieste, with a total length of 13 nautical miles.
The departure is set at 10.30 am and the line is positioned between Barcola and Miramare; we proceed for 210 degrees, for 4.3 nautical miles, until we reach the first buoy, then follows a clearance of 0.90 miles, for 332 degrees. From Boa 2 to Boa 3, off the Miramare Castle, we sail for 4 miles, then return to Barcola, along the coast, for 2.3 miles.
Off the Faro della Vittoria begins the final phase of the regatta, which leads the crews to the finish: you sail for 160 degrees until you reach, after a mile and a half, the Porto Vecchio Dam, where, in front of the Unit, the finish line of the regatta is positioned.
