The traditional historical reconstruction of the Lombard era offers several events, including conferences, shows and combat re-enactments , archery and axe-throwing demonstrations, activities and educational workshops, guided tours to the historical sites, tours to the archaeological/educational park and to the town's new archaeological museum.
Besides, Lombard cuisine and stalls with typical food of the time, live music and an antiques market will be the highlights of this event.
The program includes in particular:
On Friday – at 8.45pm kids’ lab to discover Langobards’ habits and traditions; addressed to children from 5 up to 12 years old (in Italian language).
On Saturday - at 3.30pm and 7pm combat reenactments; at 4.30pm reconstruction of Langobards’ daily life; at 9pm funeral and burial rituals; at 10pm Storytelling around a camp fire.
On Sunday – at 10am, 3.30pm, 6pm combat reenactments; at 12pm Langobard’s baptism; at 2pm reconstruction of Langobards’ daily life; in the evening, as closing event, Skål with the “Alboino mead”.
